So, we have been talking about starting a blog for months and are finally getting around to it! We thought it would be a good way to update our family & friends who we don't see often, are out of town, etc. -Especially as we begin this exciting new chapter in our lives!
Our first baby is due September 23rd, 2009 and it's a girl! For those of you who haven't heard, we were shocked when we found out it was a girl! Both of us were more than convinced that it was a boy. In fact, I was so convinced that I almost wanted to wait until the baby was born to find out the sex so that it could be a "little bit of a surprise". LOL, so finding out it was a girl was definitely very special! I tease Ben all the time that she already has him wrapped around her finger because he has put so much effort into making sure every detail of the nursery is perfect (pictures to come in a few weeks once he is finished) and suddenly doesn't mind the thought of carrying around a pink diaper bag :)
I am just about 32 weeks along (on Wed) now and it has been an absolutely amazing journey so far. God is truly awesome in the way he allows life to develop & we feel blessed far beyond measure. Thanks for visiting our site & sharing in the journey w/ us!
